Eden Yachting

DUBAI-based Eden Yachting, one of the few independent yacht charter agencies based in the Middle East, has been named as UAE agent for Athens-based yacht charter operator Kiriacoulis.

Established around a year ago Eden Yachting acts as an independent charter agency for selected yacht operators worldwide.

In this the region company has yachts listed in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Beirut, the Red Sea and Oman offering a variety of sailing experiences from corporate team building to regular sailing and racing.

Business in the UAE and Beirut is very much luxury motor yachts, however in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Thailand and Indian Ocean the company also offers a large fleet of sailing yachts.

Of the new agreement, Philippe Saad, founder and managing director of Eden Yachting, said: “Kiriacoulis is one of our key operators for bareboat, skippered and flotilla sailing holidays across the Mediterranean, so we are delighted to have been named as its UAE agent. Sailing is becoming increasingly popular in the region and many people are attracted by the idea of cruising on their own private chartered yacht as a summer vacation. Through Kiriacoulis we can fulfill that dream.”

Kiriacoulis, established in 1980, operates a fleet of 420 sailing yachts. Executive director Fanis Kiriacoulis said: “We welcome Eden Yachting as the newest addition to our list of agents around the world. The Arabian Gulf is not an area that has been covered up until now, but obviously there is a developing appetite for sailing in the region. “

There are several options when considering a sailing holiday including bareboat, flotilla or even with an experienced skipper and Eden can arrange them all.
